As you progress with your online project, you’ll face a heavier workload and have to manage many tasks simultaneously. If you don’t master this, you’ll drown. Why not use the internet or your computer to help keep you organized?
Here’s a list of free and simple-to-use online tools to keep you on the ball:
Google Notebook
Use Google’s browser-based notebook to get your thoughts and ideas down on paper (or the screen, technically). The good thing about an online notebook like this is that you don’t need to lug anything around and you can get to it from any computer with internet access. You can use it to quickly jot down an idea, clip a couple paragraphs from an article you just read or even share your notes with others.
If you prefer a desktop based application, try Evernote.
Remember the Milk
Silly name but serious task. Remember the Milk manages your To Do lists and can send reminders via all the popular instant messaging services or your cell phone. You can even sych your To Dos with an online calendar, and never forget a task again.
FreeMind
If you’re a visual learner, try FreeMind’s mindmapping software to see your thoughts and ideas in action. Mindmapping helps you grasp your business ideas by laying it all out for you. Use it for smaller tasks too, such as organizing blog posts into different categories.
Compact Calendar
David Seah created this mini calendar for those of us who need a calendar handy at all times. This printable calendar fits nicely in a wallet or purse and is ideal for doodling your schedule on paper. If you’re going to master any workload, start with mastering a calendar system.
Goalmigo
Set, track and share your goals with Goalmigo. Sometimes just writing out your goals can help mold your business ideas. This service goes the extra mile by letting you visually see your progress, which helps keep you accountable and on the right track.
LaterLoop
Bookmark and save web pages easily and effectively with LaterLoop. Saved pages are accessible anywhere, so you can catch up on articles over breakfast or during the morning commute. This service is optimized for mobile phones, so your articles follow you.
